Active Ecological Restoration in Cholila, Chubut

Through our partnership with ReforestArg, we collaborate in reforestation programs aimed at restoring areas affected by wildfires in the Argentine Patagonia, generating positive environmental impact and supporting local development.

In 2024, we began our participation in the planting of 50,000 native trees in Cholila, one of the regions most severely affected by forest fires.

A Project with Long-Term Impact

This initiative is part of the Comprehensive Program for the Management and Restoration of Large Areas Affected by Wildfires in the Andean Region, with a 30-year vision.

Its objective is to restore 50 hectares of native forest, promoting the use of native species such as:
Coihue (Nothofagus dombeyi)
Andean Cypress (Austrocedrus chilensis)

In addition, the project promotes:

  • Training and generation of local employment
  • Strengthening the profession of forest restoration specialists
  • Recovery of the area’s ecological balance

Technical Monitoring and Follow-Up

The project includes continuous monitoring to assess:

  • Survival rates of planted trees
  • Recovered biodiversity
  • Social impacts generated


This ensures that each plantation evolves autonomously, strengthening the resilience of the Patagonian ecosystem.
